Psalm 97

The LORD reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice.
Clouds and thick darkness surround him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
Fire goes before him and consumes his foes on every side.
His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles.
The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth.
The heavens proclaim his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory.
All who worship images are put to shame, those who boast in idols— worship him, all you gods!
Zion hears and rejoices and the villages of Judah are glad because of your judgments, O LORD.
For you, O LORD, are the Most High over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods.
Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
Light is shed upon the righteous and joy on the upright in heart.
Rejoice in the LORD, you who are righteous, and praise his holy name.

May the mountains melt like wax.

More soon, please continue to keep our family and visiting friends in your prayers.

  1. Katie,

I pray blessing upon you and your family. I pray right now that God is with you in your current situation. I pray that God protects every single child under your care from sickness and the enemy. I pray that God fills you with strength, joy, love, and wisdom beyond measure. Right now I stand in agreement with you in your prayers. In Spirit I am standing on the battle line with you here in America. Blessings on you Katie – we are praying and fighting for you!

  2. I am new to your blog, but I am humbled and convicted by it. Thank you for being the hands of Christ and for encouraging me to take a more radical approach to my faith. Your posts have laid a burden upon my heart. I will keep you and your family in my prayers!

  3. We read that verse yesterday at our bible study. What an awesome God we serve through the light and the darkness. Praying continually for you and your girls and those that you love who are with you right now.

“The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in him! Oh, fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack! The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.” (Ps. 34:7-10). God will honor your unwaivering trust and dependence on Him.

    Sending you hugs from TN!

  4. Luke 10:27 He answered, “You are to love ADONAI your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength and with all your understanding; and your neighbor as yourself.” ~CJB~

  5. “for as the rain and snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which i sent it. for you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace, the mountains and the hills will break forth before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.” isaiah 55:10-12

God sent word to the earth about your family. It was no mistake. What God brought together, may no man or evil take apart. We're on our knees here for you ALL. keep us updated sweet sister. i love you and you're not alone.

  7. Katie,

It was true joy to sit beside you on your couch last Tuesday and put my hands on you to pray for you. I am thankful that our prayers do NOT fall on deaf ears because our God never slumbers.

I am continuing to pray for you and your girls – I know that God's plans are to give them a hope and a future so we will stand on that together, sister.

    Much, much love. Amy
